It's all good....right?

So it looks like everything went smoothly with the redirect to my new domain! If you look to your address bar you should be seeing www.freakedoutnsmall.com, right? Hopefully....  I haven't heard that there were any problems so I'm guessing all is good in the hood! Next is going to be the new blog design - which means I'm going to be sitting up during the wee hours the next several nights messing around with this and that until I see something I like. Odds are I'll probably mess something up so wish me luck. Noooooo I can never just leave well enough alone :D

One thing I'm trying to work on is a different commenting platform - the one that I have now is really impersonal. I can only leave generalized comments, when I'd like to be able to reply to each of your awesome comments specifically. Blogger recently integrated threaded comments, which I was SO freaking excited about, however it doesn't work on my blog. I guess there are many customized blogs out there that are having the same issue (I was just another one of the lucky ones - yaaaaaayyyyy me!) and Blogger is working on a solution to the problem, but they're doing it veeeeeeeery slowly. To slow for my tastes, so it looks like Disqus is my next option.

In addition to the new domain, and upcoming blog makeover, I've decided to introduce a featured blog of the month here on my site. There are quite a few blogs that I've connected with and I'd like to share their wonderfulness with you guys. At this point it's just going to be one a month, because frankly I don't see a need for more than that. My focus is to introduce you to the lovely people I've met through my blogging experiences and give you an opportunity to check out their blogs in all their awesomeness. There's so many blogs out there these days it's easy to get lost in the shuffle.

Bear with me as we all know that I'm moving like a snail lately - these medication changes are seriously slowing me down to a crawl. I swear, I get up to walk into another room for something and somehow a time warp happens somewhere at the halfway point in the hall and 10 minutes have suddenly passed. What the hell is that all about???

Anyhoo - if you have any suggestions for things I've mentioned I'd love to hear them! Like I've said a million times before I'm a total nerd at this stuff.
