This morning I looked out my window and I saw a:
Tufted Titmouse
Dark Eyed Janco
Chickadee
Male Northern Cardinal
Female Northern Cardinal
(don't they look like little punk rockers???)
Mourning Dove
Red Bellied Woodpecker
Male Downy Woodpecker
Winter House Wren
(on very left of feeder)
And of course, my tree wouldn't be complete without an entire flock of Blue Jays. Can you spot six of them sitting in the tree below? They're kinda hard to see...
The Blue Jays are quite funny to watch when you throw their peanuts in the snow. They'll throw snow around furiously with their beaks searching for them. As you can see by the picture above this guys still got some on his beak.
I obviously got a little carried away with the pictures, but it was such a nice morning sitting there with a cup of tea, watching the birds out the kitchen window...I wasn't in any hurry to clean the basement floors, that's for damn sure. And please forgive my fuzzy shots, taken through my obviously very dirty window. :)
Oh my.... I'm so jealous. You know we dont have birds like that here. They are beautiful!
