Mobee Floats Now!

Today was a great day, aside from getting eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Mobee finally learned to swim! I've been trying to teach him for years, but he's got it now! 

Here's a picture of one of the few times Mobee got to the tennis ball first.

There was some evening fishing at the pond, followed by a spectacular sunset.

Around midnight we decided to take a drive. We came across a clutch of baby killdeer huddled around their dead mother in the middle of the road.

We'd almost hit them with our car, and there were tons of bats swooping around, so we picked them up hoping a papa bird would be back to get them. After a while of sitting on the side of the road with our little guys in a plastic tote chirping their heads off, papa finally returned and they were happily reunited. Sadly enough to start their one parent family.

I can't wait to see what kind of critters we come across tomorrow....♥
